Training

We understand that the more competent a nurse or carer is, the more likely they are to be able to provide the level of care we expect. At Alpha Quality Care we feel that training our staff as thoroughly as possible is crucial to our success.

Our in-house training coordinators can assist applicants in renewing existing statutory and mandatory training qualifications and courses, and enrolling on new courses as part of professional development.

When we employ a new carer they undergo a comprehensive training schedule where they are educated in all mandatory aspects such as manual moving and handling, first aid, food hygiene, challenging behaviour and health and safety. We also provide training based on the recommendations from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

Our Homecare and Nursing Managers monitor and review all carers weekly to check performance and ensure that communication channels are maintained throughout the company.

Our staff are fully qualified, and DBS checked . At Alpha Quality Care we can provide the help that you require to continue having a dignified and independent life. We offer a range of care and support to suit all kinds of situations. Our directors and experienced Care Managers will be happy to talk to you or visit you at home to discuss your needs and to find out how we can help.

All our care workers will have either already attained or be in the process of attaining an QCF (former NVQ) in Health and Social Care.
